elemental color is an inorganic materials startup developing advanced functional materials from abundant oxide, silicate, and chalcogenide perovskite systems with secure Western-hemisphere supply chains.

We engineer bulk and thin-film inorganic materials whose optical and thermal behavior can be deliberately shaped—particularly in the near-infrared—using solid-state synthesis, high-temperature processing, and film-based fabrication. Current work spans enduring inorganic colorants and functional materials for thermal management, thermophotovoltaic (TPV) systems, and emerging photovoltaic architectures.
