Michelle Leslie

Michelle Leslie is the R&D Director of Plant Directed BioControl at Elemental Enzymes, a position held since September 2016, where leadership of a research team focuses on developing innovative and sustainable biochemical solutions to protect plants from pathogens and environmental stressors. Prior to this role, Michelle served in various capacities at the University of Missouri from 2011 to September 2016, including Senior Scientist and Research Scientist II, culminating in a position as Postdoctoral Researcher. Michelle earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis.
