Charlene Browne

Charlene Browne is an experienced professional in non-profit development and communication, currently serving as the Director of Development at The Elementary Institute of Science since April 2013. This organization focuses on fostering intellectual curiosity in San Diego's youth through engaging science enrichment programs. Prior roles include Senior Development Officer at Balboa Park Online Collaborative, Director of Development & Communications at San Diego Futures Foundation, and Director of Program Development at Access, Inc. Additionally, Charlene has previous experience as a Grant Writer for the American Red Cross and Youth Programs Manager at San Diego Workforce Partnership.
