Chris Alonso

Chris Alonso, CFA, is a senior strategic leader in corporate finance and strategy with extensive experience in equity research and mergers and acquisitions. They began their career as an Equity Research Analyst at Barclays Plc from 2001 to 2005 and later served as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, London, in 2005-2006. Chris progressed to roles at Rothschild from 2006 to 2017 and became Managing Director at Stephens Inc. from 2017 to 2020, leading the UK A&D and Industrials division. Most recently, they held the position of Group Head of Strategy and Corporate Development - Vice President at Avon Protection plc until 2023 and are currently the Group Head of M&A at Elementis Global. Chris is also pursuing an Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, alongside a Master’s degree from EDHEC Business School and studies at Lycée Massena.
