Neal Christensen

Neal Christensen is a seasoned professional in the field of psychology and wilderness therapy, currently serving as the Co-founder and Clinical Director of ELEMENTS WILDERNESS PROGRAM since August 2013. Previously, Neal held the position of Clinical Director at Outback Therapeutic Expeditions from August 2008 to August 2013 and gained valuable experience as a Psychology Intern at Leavenworth VA Medical Center, focusing on psychological assessment and treatment for veterans from July 2007 to July 2008. Neal began a career in wilderness therapy as a Wilderness Therapist at Outback Therapeutic Expeditions between May 2004 and July 2007. Academically, Neal earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Business from Kansas State University.
