Alex Shmorhun

Alex Shmorhun has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2012, they worked as the Head of IT at Family Healthcare of Fairfax until 2014. Alex then became an IT Consultant at ICF International from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, Alex co-founded and served as the CTO of HousePouch for a brief period. From 2018 onwards, they joined Elemica, where they held various roles including Delivery Consultant, Application Consultant in Global Professional Services, and currently works as a Project Manager in the same department.

Alex Shmorhun attended the University of Virginia from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Systems Engineering. Prior to their university education, they attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, although specific dates and degrees earned are not provided. In terms of additional certifications, Alex obtained the Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM 1) certification from Scrum.org in September 2021, and the Youth Mental Heal First Aid USA certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in June 2022.
