Dr. Simon A. Rego is a seasoned professional in the field of psychology and psychiatry, currently serving as a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine since January 2004. In addition, Dr. Rego holds multiple leadership roles at Montefiore Health System, including Chief of Psychology and Director of Psychology Training. With extensive experience in clinical and research settings, Dr. Rego has also been affiliated with various institutions such as the Cognitive Therapy Center of Long Island, where Dr. Rego served as Associate Director, and the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy as Director of Clinical Training. Dr. Rego's academic background includes a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University, an MA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College, and a BScH in Psychology from Queen's University.
