Swapnil Joshi began their work experience in 2007 as a Design Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. In 2011, they worked as a Project Intern (Industrial Design) at Videocon Telecommunications Ltd. Later that year, they joined Havells India Ltd as Deputy Manager Design for their CRI Luminaire division. In 2014, Swapnil became the Deputy Manager Design at Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd. Swapnil then joined Elephant Design Pvt. Ltd in 2015, initially as the Creative Lead for Industrial & User Experience Design and later becoming the Creative Director in the same field.
Swapnil Joshi obtained a Master's degree in Industrial and Product Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a certificate in CAD and CAE from CadCAMGuru in 2006-2007. In 2003-2006, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from K.K.Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research. Swapnil also holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic Nashik, which they obtained in 2000-2003. Swapnil completed their secondary education at St. Philomena Convent High School, although the field of study is unspecified.
