Matthew Lystad has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Matthew started their career at GEICO in 2007, working as a Liability Claims Adjuster and later as a Product Manager Analyst. Matthew then served as a Product and Pricing Manager, responsible for managing underwriting profit and policy growth in various states. In 2015, they became an Underwriting Operations and Personal Lines Motorcycle/RV Product Management specialist. In 2017, they took on the role of Underwriting Operations Manager. In 2018, Matthew joined Elephant Insurance as the New Product Development Manager and later became the Director of Product Development.
Matthew Lystad completed their Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the State University of New York at Oswego, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Matthew obtained the following certifications:
1. Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2023.
2. Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2023.
3. Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning from LinkedIn in May 2021.
