Eric Wait, PhD, is an accomplished Principal Data Scientist at Elephas, with a strong background in computer science R&D. Previous roles include Data Scientist at Janelia Research Campus, where Eric contributed to the Advanced Imaging Center, and a long tenure with the USAF as a Computer Systems Administrator. Eric's academic foundation includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Drexel University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Eric also has extensive teaching and research experience, having served as a Research Assistant focusing on biomedical image analysis and visualization of complex data, complemented by experience in graphic design and server management.
