Dimitris Badounas

Dimitris Badounas has a diverse work experience in various roles. Dimitris is currently working as a Lead Quantum Software Engineer at eleQtron GmbH since May 2022. Prior to this, they also held a role as a Quantum Software Engineer at the same company starting from January 2022. Additionally, Dimitris worked as a Data Engineer at Warply from September 2021 to December 2021. Dimitris also served as an AI Researcher/NLP Engineer at The MAMA AI from June 2021 to October 2021. Dimitris gained experience as a Quantum Software Engineer at PiDust from February 2019 to June 2020. Their responsibilities at PiDust included implementing cutting-edge scientific papers, coding in Python, conducting tests and documentation, and working on quantum chemistry and circuit development projects. Before that, they worked as a Computational Chemist/Junior Researcher at the University of Patras from September 2016 to December 2018. In this role, Dimitris utilized high-performance computing environments, MATLAB and Python coding, and computational chemistry techniques such as density functional theory.

Dimitris Badounas holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from the University of Patras. Dimitris has also obtained additional certification from IBM's Qiskit Global Summer School.
