Tarmo Rähmonen

Tarmo Rähmonen is an experienced analyst at Elering since February 2019, with a background in electrical power engineering. Prior to this role, Tarmo served as a senior specialist in the Grid Technologies department at Elektrilevi from December 2015 to February 2019, focusing on designing effective solutions for future distribution power grids. Tarmo also completed an electrical engineering internship at ABB's US Corporate Research Center between October 2014 and June 2015, where responsibilities included fault waveform analysis and HVAC MATLAB modeling. Earlier experience includes a laboratory assistant position at Tallinn University of Technology, involving grid compliance measurements and research on power quality issues. Tarmo holds a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Tallinn University of Technology.
