Vassili Gorbenko

Vassili Gorbenko currently serves as the Head of IT Development at Elering, overseeing an IT department of 14 and managing over 100 external IT partners to drive digitalization projects from concept to implementation. Prior to this role, Vassili was the Head of IT Project Management at Elering, responsible for setting and maintaining IT project management standards across the organization. Vassili's experience includes positions as Engineering Manager at Omniva, where logistics and courier solutions were developed, Project Manager/Team Lead at the Ministry of Environment of Estonia focusing on document management systems, Project Manager at Eesti Energia managing DWH projects, System Administrator at Gemalto providing production support, and Client Manager/Application Administrator at Swedbank. Vassili holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
