Adriaan Ruiter

Adriaan Ruiter is a seasoned professional in the engineering field with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Sr. System R&D Engineer at Elestor B.V. since October 2022, Ruiter previously held multiple roles at Ampelmann Operations from December 2010 to October 2022, including Sr. Lead Feasibility, Innovation Project Manager, Manager of Special Projects, and Production Engineer. During this tenure, Ruiter facilitated client-engineering collaboration, managed innovative projects for offshore crew changes, and led the development of the Ampelmann fleet. Ruiter also gained experience at Heineken as a Junior Project Manager and Intern, focusing on market research, and completed a graduation internship at the Port of Rotterdam, conducting a feasibility study on LNG fuel for shipping. Ruiter holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an European Baccalaureate from the European School of Brussels.
