Jelte Steen

Jelte Steen is a Chemist R&D at Elestor B.V. since March 2023, with a strong background in chemistry research. Previously, Jelte served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Groningen from July 2022 to February 2023, focusing on in situ NMR spectroscopy to investigate redox flow batteries using Blatter radical-based electrolytes. Jelte also completed a PhD at the University of Groningen from June 2018 to November 2022, where research concentrated on developing new bipolar organic electrolytes for symmetric redox flow batteries. Jelte's academic journey includes earning a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Groningen, completed in August 2015 and May 2018, respectively.
