Sangeetha Somayajula

Sangeetha Somayajula is a Director at Carelon, responsible for leading digital personalization efforts and developing AI solutions that enhance member experience on the Anthem platform. Prior to this role, Sangeetha served as a Principal Data Scientist and Lead Data Scientist, focusing on predictive modeling using large medical claims databases through machine learning techniques. At Merck, Sangeetha held the position of Senior Scientist in Scientific Informatics, where novel algorithms were developed to extract insights from diverse data types, leading a team of scientists and achieving multiple awards for impactful work. Sangeetha's earlier experience includes research assistant roles at the University of Southern California, where advanced statistical models and imaging algorithms were developed.
