Shaheen Gauher

Shaheen Gauher, PhD, currently serves as Senior Director at Elevance Health since June 2022 and as an Advisor at Prometeo AI. Additionally, Shaheen holds a position on the Advisory Board for the Data Analytics program at Tufts University. Previously, Shaheen worked at Anthem, Inc. as Senior Director and in various director roles focusing on Technology, Innovation, and AI, as well as Data Science and AI from October 2019 to June 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Analytics Advisor at CVS Health and Data Scientist at Microsoft, where Shaheen specialized in Azure Machine Learning. Earlier positions include Data Scientist at Nokia’s Big Data Analytics and Postdoctoral Investigator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, where a predictive model utilizing Artificial Neural Networks was developed. Shaheen’s educational background includes a PhD and MS in Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Science and Meteorology from Florida State University, as well as a Master of Science in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
