Andrea Zapata

Andrea Zapata currently serves as the Head of Programming at LaFamilia Foundation, FounderFamilia, and VCFamilia, roles held since February 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a City Launcher at Acelerate and as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, where wealth management skills were demonstrated along with passing SIE S7 S66 examinations. Andrea co-founded BomBon, conducting market research and financial analysis for a lingerie brand. At Generation Nine, a street-wear clothing brand, Andrea held dual roles as Chief Operations Officer and Co-Creative Director, overseeing design, marketing, and logistics. Internships at Rick Owens and Miami Entertainment Group provided hands-on experience in retail operations and event management. Education includes a degree in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Retail & Supply Chain Management from Babson College and a certificate in Venture Capital & Private Equity from Columbia Business School.
