Taylor Davis has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Most recently, they served as the Senior Director of Community Development & Partnerships at Elevate Rapid City. Prior to that, Taylor worked as the Network Lead-Sheppard AFB Military Spouse Professional Network at Hiring Our Heroes. They also held multiple roles at the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce, including Director of Business Retention & Expansion and Talent Partnership Director & Military Liaison. Earlier in their career, Taylor worked at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology as an Assistant Director and Summer Camps Coordinator/Admissions Counselor. They also had experience as a Park Manager Intern at Angostura Recreation Area, an Office Host at Residence Life Winthrop University, and an Office Liaison/Youth Program Director at Career and Civic Engagement Winthrop University. Additionally, Taylor has worked as an Independent Student Researcher at the Winthrop University Department of Geology.

Taylor Davis attended Winthrop University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science. After completing their undergraduate studies, Taylor pursued various certifications to further their education and professional development. In 2019, they obtained a Certificate in Basic Economic Development from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. In the same year, they also received a Certificate in Public Sector Leadership from Cornell University. In 2020, Taylor obtained a Certificate in Six Sigma Yellow Belt from VMEdu, Inc. Additionally, they completed a Certificate in Navigating HR Compliance Through the Employee Lifecycle from the Society for Human Resource Management in 2020. Most recently, in 2021, Taylor earned a Certificate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
