Blake Thornley

Blake Thornley has worked in various roles throughout their career. Blake started as a Systems Analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they were responsible for managing software projects in the healthcare sector. Blake then worked as a Web Developer at Starbase, overseeing the development and maintenance of corporate websites and intranets.

Blake later joined Clubspaces, Inc as the Vice President of IT/Architecture, where they managed software design and development and ensured the delivery of SaaS applications. Blake also co-founded and served as the principal software architect of the D4 Sports League Management System, overseeing all aspects of the technology side of the business.

Blake then joined The Active Network as the Sr. Manager of Software Development, leading global development teams and advising top-level IT executives on technology needs for sports organizations. Blake subsequently worked at chatmeter.com as the Network Operations Manager, before co-founding and serving as the Co-Founder/Chief Technology Officer of Total Global Sports.

Blake also worked as a Software Architect at Fawcett Technology Advisors and as an Independent Consultant, providing project and software development management expertise to clients. Blake is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at ELEVATE.

Blake Thornley attended Carson High School from 1984 to 1988. Blake then pursued an Associate General Studies degree with a focus on Physics at Western Nevada College from 1989 to 1991. Later, they enrolled at the University of Redlands from 1994 to 1997, where they studied Management Information Systems. As part of their continuing education, Blake obtained a Professional Certificate in Continuing Education from Stanford University from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they received Automation Pro I and Automation Pro II Certificates from Workato in 2022.
