Marissa Vasquez

Marissa Vasquez, MD, MBA, FAAFP, CAQSM, is a highly experienced physician with a focus on sports medicine and primary care. Currently serving as Team Physician for the Los Angeles Sparks and holding several key roles at UCLA Health, Los Angeles Dodgers, and David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Marissa demonstrates leadership in sports medicine and healthcare education. As a Founding Board Member-Vice Chair of ElevateMed, Marissa is dedicated to addressing workforce diversity and financial inequities in medical education. With a robust background at Kaiser Permanente, including roles such as Program Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship, Marissa has significantly contributed to healthcare and athletes' well-being for many years. Marissa holds an MD from Temple University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
