Sharonne Hayes is a prominent cardiologist and educator with extensive experience in advancing cardiovascular health for women, currently serving as Vice Chair of Academic Advancement & Faculty Development and a professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic since 1990. Hayes founded the Mayo Clinic Women’s Heart Clinic in 1998, addressing the unique cardiovascular needs of women, and has led initiatives in diversity and inclusion at Mayo Clinic. As an ElevateMeD Mentor and Advisory Board Member, Hayes supports underrepresented medical students. Hayes's educational background includes an MD from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science of Medicine from Northwestern University.
