VP Research Operations at Eleven Therapeutics

Era Duek has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Era began their career in 2008 with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, where they worked as a Middle-East Analyst and later as an Executive Assistant to the Ambassador of Israel. During their time there, they provided support and conducted research on various Middle-Eastern affairs.

In 2011, Era joined the Economic Cooperation Foundation as a Projects Director. In this role, they initiated and planned track-2 activities to maintain and support partnerships between Israelis and Palestinians, as well as Israeli-Arab partnerships.

From 2012 to 2018, Era worked at the Israeli Employment Service, first as an Adviser to the Director General, where they focused on organizational change and advised on labor relations. Later, they became a Senior Adviser to the Director General, where they were responsible for transforming organizational culture, implementing efficient structures, and promoting data-driven decision-making processes.

In 2018, Era joined the Israeli Center on Addiction (ICA) as the Chief Operating Officer and later became the Deputy of Planning. Era'sroles in this organization involved overseeing planning, operations, and the implementation of government and management policies.

Most recently, in 2022, Era became the VP of Research Operations at Eleven Therapeutics. Era'sresponsibilities in this role include laying down the groundwork and infrastructure for the company and streamlining cross-company processes.

Overall, Era Duek has a strong background in strategic planning, research, project management, and organizational development.

Era Duek started their education at Reichman University in 2006 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics in 2008. In 2014, they attended Harvard University for an executive program called MAOZ, which focused on Business Administration and Management. Additionally, in 2015-2016, Era pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis at Tel Aviv University.
