Romit Ray has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as an Associate at HSBC in the Global Banking & Markets division, specializing in FXMM and derivative products. In 2012, they joined Citi as an Analyst in International Trade Finance. From 2014 to 2019, Romit worked at BT Group as a Manager, leading a team in delivering complex transformation programs and managing continuous improvement initiatives. In 2019, they pursued a funded PhD program at the University of the West of Scotland, focusing on operational change management. Since 2019, Romit has also worked as a CX Researcher at InMoment, and in 2022, they briefly served as Digital Transformation Lead at Goldman Sachs. Currently, they are the Lead for Analytics & Insights at Elexon, a role they started in 2023.
Romit Ray's education history includes a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree from the University of the West of Scotland, where they conducted advanced post-graduate research on "Delivering Complex Transformation Programs in Organizations" from 2019 to 2021.
