Jon Bukantis

Jon Bukantis is an Engineer I on the Mechanical Products Team at Elgin Sweeper, with experience in mechanical engineering roles since 2021. Previously, Jon worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Elgin Sweeper, where responsibilities included designing a prototype spray bar, improving sweeper components, and documenting engineering changes, as well as interacting with service and production teams. Prior internships at Signode involved organizing testing schedules for plastic strap weld strength and updating product designs using Solidworks. Jon also has experience as an academic tutor in General Physics and Calculus III at Iowa State University, fostering a deeper understanding of complex topics for students. Jon holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, completed in 2022.
