Jonathan Horn

Director at Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestras

Jonathan Horn (JJ) started performing as a young child and since then has performed in over theatrical 100 productions. JJ graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Central College with a B.A. in Vocal Music Education. Jonathan is the Co-Founder of the Chicagoland Theatre Fund, which invests in projects in the entertainment industry around the Chicagoland, and serves as a Director for the organization. Jonathan’s career started as a music teacher at a private school in Elgin. Jonathan is a vocal coach and acting coach for both professional and amateur singers and actors, and JJ served as the Youth Vocal and Acting Coach for Children of Eden at the Cadillac Palace in Chicago. Jonathan is the Musical Director for the Fox River Trolley Museum and has been the Lead Musician on the museum’s Polar Express and Halloween Ghost Train for 15 years and counting. Jonathan has music directed many shows for local theatre groups and continues to work as an actor, singer, producer, and director.
