Georg Korn

Director, Eli Beamlines Scientific at ELI Beamlines

Georg Korn is currently the Director of Eli Beamlines Scientific at ELI Beamlines. Prior to this, Georg worked as a software developer at Deutsche Borse from September 2011 to May 2014. In this role, Georg was responsible for developing the Prisma project, a trading system for European stock exchanges. Georg also worked as a verification engineer at Acision from January 2011 to June 2011. Additionally, Georg has held positions as a postdoctoral fellow at Eli-Beamlines, Institute of Physics from February 2015 to December 2017 and as a postdoctoral researcher at Charles University in Prague from January 2007 to December 2010.

Georg Korn has a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Charles University in Prague, an RNDr in Theoretical Physics from the Charles University in Prague Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, and a Mgr in Theoretical Physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics at Charles University in Prague. Georg also has a certification from Udemy in Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp, a certification from Coursera in Machine Learning, a certification from Coursera in Songwriting from the Berklee School of Music, and a certification from Coursera in Introduction to Databases from Stanford University with a distinction. Georg Korn also has a CE in ISTQB FL and a British Council certification in IELTS Academic with an overall score of 7.
