Sonia Gregory

Sonia Gregory currently serves as the Executive Director of External Manufacturing at Eli Lilly and Company, a position held since October 2025. Prior to this, Sonia held the same title at Verve Therapeutics from November 2023 to October 2025 and was the Vice President of CMC at RVAC Medicines from October 2021 to September 2023. Sonia's career includes significant roles at GSK, where work included Technical Development Lead, Sr. Manager, and Expert Scientist from March 2015 to October 2021, as well as a position as Scientist II at Novartis from September 2013 to March 2015. Earlier experience encompasses a role as Biochemist at Merck from July 2007 to June 2009 and as an Analytical Chemist at Element One, Inc. from May 2004 to August 2005. Sonia Gregory holds a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and both an MS and BS in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
