William Hewitt

William Hewitt is currently a Senior Scientific Lead at Loxo Oncology at Lilly, where they leverage their extensive background in medicinal chemistry. They previously served as a Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist in medicinal chemistry at Loxo Oncology from 2018 to 2020, following their role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute from 2015 to 2018, where they led a collaborative team investigating novel enzymatic pathways. Hewitt holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they contributed to advancements in synthetic chemistry and methodology.
