Koen van Loon

Koen Van Loon is an experienced professional in maintenance and operational excellence, currently serving as the SAP PM Product Owner and Senior Manager at Elia since July 2017. With a strong focus on the energy transition, Koen leads a team of over 200 experts in maintenance assessment, commissioning, and safety excellence initiatives. Previous roles include Independent Business Owner at Van Loon - Consulting and Interim Management, Operational Excellence Consultant at NMBS-SNCB, and various management positions at Anheuser-Busch InBev, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Bombardier Transportation, and more. Koen holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's degree in Integrated Maintenance Management, along with additional leadership education from INSEAD.
