Michael Dans

Michael Dans is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Financial Performance for Group Controlling at Elia Group since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Group Controller and Finance Business Partner at Vinçotte, where key contributions involved P&L reporting, business planning, and the automation of invoicing operations. Michael has also held positions at Danone as Financial Performance and Cash Animation Manager, achieving yearly cash targets and enhancing forecasting processes, and at Cargill as a Financial Analyst, where significant improvements in Capex processes were realized. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in International Financial Management from the University of Groningen and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Engineering from Ichec Brussels Management School. Proficient in various financial software, including SAP, Tableau, and Excel, Michael has a proven record of delivering financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making across multiple organizations.
