Michael Frate

Michael Frate possesses extensive experience in IT application management and project leadership within the energy sector. Currently serving as IT Application Manager - Network Calculations and IT Project Manager - Metering & Customer Centricity at Elia Group since September 2017, Michael leads significant projects including the development of a new Metering AMM & MDM system and the AFRR real-time communication platform. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Fluxys from August 2008 to August 2017, where responsibilities included leading the ICT Metering Team and developing an applications landscape for metering, as well as creating ISO and OIML certified flow computers and automated calibration systems. Michael holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur civil in Chemistry and Materials Science from Faculté Polytechnique de Mons, earned between 2003 and 2008.
