Peter Michiels

Peter Michiels is an experienced HR executive currently serving as the Elia Group Chief Alignment Officer and Elia Chief HR, Internal Communications & Legal Officer since January 2017. With a robust background in workforce management, Peter has previously held significant positions including Vice President of HR at Esko and HR Director for Huntsman in Europe and the global Polyurethanes division. Additionally, Peter served as an independent board member at myskillcamp during a successful divestment period. Peter’s educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration from KU Leuven and a Master of Linguistics from the University of Antwerp, along with a certification in Board Effectiveness from Guberna.
