ELIAMEP (Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy)
Dimitris Bouris is an accomplished academic serving as an Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) since May 2016. Currently, Dimitris holds the position of Jean Monnet Chair at the ATHENA Jean Monnet Chair "The EU as a Global Actor" and is a Non-resident Research Fellow at the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy. Dimitris is also an Associate Editor for the European Security Journal and leads the EU-Middle East Jean Monnet Network EUMENIA. As a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe in Natolin, Dimitris has contributed to academia since January 2013. Educational credentials include a PhD from the University of Warwick, focusing on the European Union's role in Palestinian state-building, an MA in International Politics from The University of Manchester, and a BA (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Crete.
