Amy Tavares

Amy Tavares has a diverse work experience starting from 2010 to 2023.

Amy worked as a Deli Clerk at Trucchi's Supermarkets from June 2010 to December 2013.

Amy then had various internships and roles in different organizations. Amy was a Student Intern at the Museum of Science from January 2016 to February 2016, a Student Intern at the New England Wildlife Center from February 2016 to March 2016, a Housekeeper at Willowbend Club in Cape Cod from May 2016 to August 2016, and a Student Intern at the Bay Club at Mattapoisett from June 2014 to September 2016.

In 2016, Amy also worked as a Student Intern at the Mattapoisett Animal Hospital from August 2016 to September 2016.

From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Biomodels, LLC, starting as a Student Intern from December 2015 to September 2016, and later on as a Research Associate I from September 2016 to February 2021.

In 2021, they joined Elicio Therapeutics as a Research Associate and then moved on to become a Research Associate II from February 2021 to August 2022.

After this, they worked at SOTIO Biotech as a Senior Research Associate from August 2022 to April 2023.

Currently, Amy is working as a Senior Research Associate at Elicio Therapeutics since April 2023.

Amy Tavares completed their education with a High School Diploma in Environmental Science from Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School from 2009 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant from Mount Ida College from 2012 to 2017.
