Snayhil Rana has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. They began their career at Pacific India Venture Ltd. as a Medical Coder and were responsible for medical coding and auditing. They also gained experience in denial management audits during this time.
They then moved on to Genpact, where they worked as a Subject Matter Expert and ICD-10-CM Transition Specialist. Their role involved end-to-end quality audit and training for revenue cycle management, as well as transition and stabilization of state fee schedules.
After Genpact, Snayhil Rana joined Eli Research as a Healthcare Researcher, specializing in ICD-10-CM transition and research. They were also involved in healthcare informatics architecture and medical database architecture.
Next, they volunteered at WHO India as a Nosologist, gaining experience in the field of healthcare volunteering.
They later worked at Elico Healthcare Services Ltd as the Director of Operations-Healthcare and subsequently as AVP. They recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the same company.
Most recently, Snayhil Rana joined Sterling Healthcare Services as the Chief Operating Officer.
Throughout their career, Snayhil Rana has also developed expertise in areas such as DRG grouper design, ICD-10 revenue leak analysis, and writing books on ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS and Indian management.
Snayhil Rana obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Biotech from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, which they attended from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, they enrolled at the Kaizen School of Business Management and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project Management and Quality Management in 2011. Additionally, in 2010, Snayhil Rana pursued healthcare and medical studies at the AAPC, earning certifications in CPC-H and CPCO. More recently, Snayhil Rana attended NAAC and obtained a Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) degree, which was completed in 2016.
