Nicholas Nebbeling

Interim Controller / Director of Accounting at Eliem Therapeutics

Nicholas Nebbeling has a range of work experience, starting with an internship at Kontos Foods in 2009. Nicholas then gained experience as an accounting intern at HCA International in 2010 and as a brokerage intern at Marcus & Millichap later that year. In 2011, Nicholas interned at KPMG in the tax department and concurrently pursued a graduate degree at American University. After completing their degree in 2012, they joined Ernst & Young as an Audit Senior Manager, where they worked for almost a decade. In 2021, Nicholas transitioned to Eliem Therapeutics, first as a Senior Manager in Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting, then as an Associate Director in the same field. Currently, they serve as the Interim Controller and Director of Accounting at Eliem Therapeutics.

Nicholas Nebbeling's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at American University's Kogod School of Business in Washington. Nicholas pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with specializations in Business Administration and Accounting and Finance, completing their studies in 2011.

Afterward, Nicholas continued their education at the American University - Kogod School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Accounting in 2012.

In terms of certifications, Nicholas became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in June 2019 through the Washington State Board of Accountancy. Nicholas had previously obtained their CPA certification in October 2015 through the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy.
