Olaf Baer

Olaf Baer has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Olaf began as an Accounting and Business Administration Intern at Sauerländer Verlage AG in Aarau, Switzerland. Olaf then moved to Cornelsen Verlag GmbH in Berlin, Germany, where they worked as a Student Trainee for 20 hours per week. In 2011, they became a Financial Analyst at Pfizer Pharma GmbH in Germany. In 2013, they began working as a Senior Consultant at KPMG. In 2017, they took on the role of Manager of Financial Accounting and Controlling at Smartfrog Ltd., where they were responsible for leading the Finance team in operational tasks, monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and business planning. In 2018, they became the Head of Finance at Trade Republic Bank GmbH. Most recently, in 2020, they took on the role of Head of Finance at Elinvar.de.

Olaf Baer obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann (M. Sc.) in Accounting & Finance from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin between 2004 and 2010. In 2010, they participated in a student's exchange program at University of Navarra, where they studied Financial Markets, Human Resources, and Business Ethics. In 2017, they obtained a PMI certification from PMI. In 2022, they are expected to complete an Executive Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
