Rolf Flor

Rolf Flor is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Director of Utilization and Process Improvement and Director of Outpatient Services at Eliot Community Human Services since 2001. In addition to these roles, Rolf operates a private practice as a Lacanian Psychoanalyst, providing psychoanalysis and supervision since 2008. Rolf Flor is also an accomplished watercolorist, recognized with the 2015 Edward D. Carey Memorial Award. Academic contributions include faculty positions at Boston College from January 2020 to January 2023 and at the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis from 2014 to February 2016, focusing on teaching Lacanian psychoanalysis. Rolf holds a Master of Social Work degree from Smith College, a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Psychology, and Education from Heidelberg University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Philosophy, and Mathematics from Boston University.
