Prior to that, they worked at Reaal from 2017 to 2021, serving as the Manager of Sales & Business Development and National Account Manager. Olivier also has experience in the insurance sector, working at Zwitserleven from 2013 to 2016, where they held positions such as Acting Commercial Manager, Senior Pension Advisor, and Pension Advisor. Olivier has a solid foundation in management and development, having completed a Management Traineeship at SNS REAAL from 2009 to 2013. Before entering the insurance industry, they gained sales and management experience as a Sales Advisor at Autocentrum van Vliet. Olivier also has international marketing experience from their internship at Sara Lee and traineeship at NH Hotel Group. Olivier's diverse background and expertise contribute to their success in account management and business development.
Olivier Batelaan completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Commerciële Economie at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht from 1999 to 2004. Olivier then pursued a Transition Program in Business Administration at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2004 to 2006. Olivier also obtained a Master of Science in International Management from the same institution from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Olivier has obtained several certifications in the financial industry, including WFT Schade Zakelijk, WFT Inkomen, WFT Hypotheken, WFT Vermogen, WFT Basis, and WFT Pensioen.
