Alvar Ristikivi

Alvar Ristikivi has extensive work experience in the field of network administration and engineering. Alvar started their career in 2010 as a computer and network systems teacher at Väike-Maarja Õppekeskus. In 2011, they joined Cybernetica as an IT specialist for a short period. Later that year, they joined E-tervise SA as a network administrator and application administrator, where they worked until 2023. In 2017, Alvar joined TEHIK as a network administrator, a position they held until 2023. Currently, they are working as a network engineer at Elisa Eesti AS.

Alvar Ristikivi completed their Master's Degree (MSc) in Cyber Security at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in IT system administration from Estonian IT College between 2006 and 2011. In the past, Alvar had started their studies in international business management at Concordia International University Estonia, but did not complete the degree from 1996 to 1998. Before pursuing higher education, they specialized in ship automation systems at Tallinna Merekool from 1986 to 1990.
