Jarkko Järvinen

Jarkko Järvinen is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in software development, architecture, and project management. Since January 2007, Jarkko has served as the Head of Architecture and Software Development at Elisa, where responsibilities include establishing software development guidelines, overseeing AI tooling, and conducting cloud design peer reviews. Prior roles at Elisa involved managing teams of software architects and focusing on the development of products like Elisa Viihde. Jarkko also founded Poppamies Ltd., specializing in the development and distribution of food products, and worked as Chief Engineer at Epictv.com, handling CDN and global streaming development. Early career experiences include network engineering and project management roles at Eunet Finland and Soon Communications, along with research on broadband networks at the Digital Media Institute. Jarkko holds a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications and Software Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
