Sakari Volanen

Sakari Volanen has been with Elisa since 2000, holding various leadership roles, including Head of Ecosystems & Vendors within Software Services, where a focus has been on building strategic partnerships. Other significant positions include leading the People and Culture department, managing the Planning Department, and overseeing Online Development, emphasizing service design and the self-service experience for customers. With a team-oriented approach, Sakari has also contributed to recruitment, marketing, and collaboration efforts. Additionally, involvement in Joint Futures and DSConf showcases expertise in operations and event organization. As the founder of the Elisa Drone Racing League, Sakari successfully established the first Finnish Drone Racing League. Educational background includes a degree from Aalto University, completed in 2000.
