ELIT AS was established in 1997 by two entrepreneurs with a burning desire and commitment to purchase and develop products within a niche product area such as measuring instruments and earthing and to be able to offer the market an increased level of knowledge within use and understanding of this.

Stone on stone, ELIT was naturally built on within competence and product areas. ELIT currently offers products within the product groups measuring instruments and data loggers, earthing equipment, lightning protection equipment, switchboard equipment, fastening equipment and bushings.

With ELIT's specialist expertise in measuring technology and knowledge of the Norwegian electricity market and grid systems, we were early on in tailoring our measuring instruments to the Norwegian market. Many products sold on the market had or do not have such adaptations and where others could not supply the team ELIT their own products and solutions which quickly became the new standard. Such innovation and development has been important and is part of our many success parameters, in which we are still investing heavily.

ELIT is today a well-established company in both Norway, Denmark and Sweden with employees who share experience, knowledge and professional understanding to be able to provide the best to our customers and partners.
