Olivier Verbeke

Co-Founder, Board Member at Elium

Olivier Verbeke has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2003, they became a Founding Partner at 123Generiques, a position they held until 2016. In 2004, they co-founded and served as the CEO of Elium until 2011. Olivier then became a Co-Founder and Board Member at Elium from 2007 onwards. In 2012, Verbeke became the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Fostering Ideas asbl, where they remained until 2017. During this time, they also served as the Managing Director of NEST'up, a startup accelerator, from 2012 to 2017. Verbeke joined Creative Wallonia Engine in 2016 as the Director of Innovation and Programs until 2017. In 2009, they became a Board Member at CETIC, a Centre of Excellence in Information and Communication Technologies, where they stayed until 2016. Verbeke's other notable roles include being a Co-Founder of CreativeSpark, a startup hub, in 2013, and a Founder of Chokola Club, a chocolate subscription box, in 2017. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Co-Founder of EVAZION.

Olivier Verbeke obtained a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Université catholique de Louvain in 1995.
