Aleksi Virkkunen

Aleksi Virkkunen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management within the retail and fitness industries. Currently serving as the Country Manager for ELIXIA Finland since January 2024, Virkkunen oversees operations across 33 fitness clubs, catering to 70,000 members and managing a team of 1,000 employees. Previously, from January 2015 to December 2023, Virkkunen held the position of Country Manager for Byggmax AB in Finland, managing 10 stores and approximately 85 employees. Additional roles include Store Intensity Manager at Rautakesko, Development Manager at SOK, and Project Manager at Tradeka Oy. Virkkunen began a career at Nokia as an Application Specialist. Virkkunen holds a Master of Science in Logistics and Marketing from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu.
