Despoina Sousoni

Despoina Sousoni, PhD is an Industry and Innovation Officer at ELIXIR. Despoina has extensive experience in science policy, partnership, project advising, and research in environmental microbiology. Despoina has worked with organizations such as UNESCO, EASME, and the European Research Council. Their educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Warwick, a Master's degree in Marine Coastal Development from NTNU, and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Crete.
