Paul Hylander

Paul Hylander is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in semiconductor architecture, software-defined solutions, and quantum computing. Currently serving as Director and Fellow at Eliyan Corporation since April 2022, Paul leads diverse teams in the development of advanced packaging solutions. Previous roles include CPU Automation Architect at NUVIA Inc / Qualcomm, where significant contributions to data path optimization and automation were made, and CEO at Hyper Analytix, focusing on application accelerators. Paul's expertise extends to quantum computing as a Quantum Error Correction Hardware Architect at PsiQuantum, and leadership positions at Qualcomm and Cadence Design Systems, where impactful advancements in DSP architecture and formal verification methods were achieved. An academic background includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Washington State University and the University of Minnesota, respectively.
