Syrus Ziai has extensive work experience, starting in 2003 with Tallwood Venture Capital as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR). From 2007 to 2008, they served as CEO of Collinear Corporation, followed by a role as CEO of Qspeed Semiconductor from 2008 to 2009. Syrus then returned to Tallwood Venture Capital as an EIR from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2015, Ziai worked at Ikanos Communications as VP Worldwide Engineering. Syrus then moved on to Qualcomm as VP Engineering from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Ziai served as SVP Engineering at PsiQuantum. Following this, they worked as VP Engineering at NUVIA Inc from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Ziai holds the position of Founder and VP Engineering at Eliyan Corporation, starting in 2022. Additionally, they serve on the Board of Governors at St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School, starting in 2023.
Syrus Ziai holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
