Jade Brake

Jade Brake is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic settings. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at Elizabeth Layton Center, Inc. since June 2018, Jade previously held the position of Behavioral Health Professional at the Kansas Department of Corrections from June 2017 to March 2018. Earlier experience includes a role as a Student Assistant in Health and Counseling Services at Emporia State University, where responsibilities involved developing an alcohol and drug abuse prevention program. Jade's foundation in mental health therapy also includes positions as a Youth Psychosocial Care Worker at CrossWinds Counseling & Wellness, and a Youth Attendant Care Worker at The Guidance Center, focusing on providing support for emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children. An internship at Renew Eating Disorders Recovery and Counseling Center provided further insight into therapeutic interventions for eating disorders. Jade holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Emporia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Baker University.
